Our principal, Helmut Berger, has arranged property development finance for a range of residential (from 3 unit infill to 75 unit greenfield) and commercial developments up to $15,000,000 GRV.

Our key strengths are having a good understanding of the development process, understanding parameters that banks and other funders are comfortable with, and negotiating terms on our client’s behalf.

If property development is your stock in trade, you will benefit from having a finance professional by your side to:

  • Arrange funding for the development sites (with a view to maintaining a pipeline of projects).
  • Source development funding and negotiate terms such as:
  • Pre-sales (if any).
  • Equity contribution (or TDCR Ratio).
  • Pricing – interest rate and fees.
  • Interest capitalisation.
  • Separate funding line for GST.


  • Assist with all aspects of finance, such as:
  • Feasibility analysis for funding purposes.
  • Cashflow forecast for funding purposes.
  • Obtaining conditional approval.
  • Assisting with meeting approval conditions.
  • Liaising with valuers, accountants, lawyers, sale agents, and other professionals as needs be.
  • Arranging the Form 18 General Consent from the funder for issuance of titles.
  • Assisting with the sale of completed stock (mortgage releases and debt reduction).
    • Acting as your advocate and conduit with the funder.
